Taniya Nayak's Boston upbringing was shaped by her fun-loving and
creative family, all from India, and influenced by her father, a talented architect. It was only a matter of time before her passion for interior design would spark.
Shortly after attending Boston Architectural College, her design style and upbeat personality landed Taniya her first TV gig on ABC Family's Knock First, working for Scout Productions, the creators of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Taniya was one of four designers/hosts of the hit show, geared toward hip, ambitious teens. She then made the move to HGTV as a designer on the edgy series FreeStyle, encouraging homeowners to get imaginative with things they already had in their homes. Since then, Taniya has joined the expert team of HGTV's popular show, Designed to Sell, where she helps homeowners transform their homes with only $2,000 before putting them on the market.
Taniya started her design firm, Taniya Nayak Design LLC., to fill a void that she saw in the design world. Having designed for a wide range of ages and spaces, she focuses on creating affordable yet inspirational spaces that capture her clients' individual personalities while maintaining comfort and function. A large part of her company centers on helping people get "uninspired" homes ready for top-dollar sales through staging and minor renovations. When making improvements, she believes in distinguishing a home so that it stands out from the competition.
In 2004, Taniya was ranked in the top 10 of INDIA New England's Business Women of the Year. Her list of clients includes celebrities Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewives, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Erik Per Sullivan of Malcolm in the Middle and Tyler Christopher of General Hospital. Taniya's designs can be seen in several Boston hotspots including Felt, BarLola Restaurant, Zita and Vinalia.
Taniya proudly conducts presentations and makes appearances to help people get a better sense of how to add value to their homes without spending a fortune.

Brandie Malay grew up in Ohio and established her love for real estate
as a little girl when her parents would take her each week to open houses to see how the "other people" lived. After graduating from Miami University, Brandie moved to Los Angeles. She helped upstart a company that outsourced construction loans for custom built homes. When the company was bought out, she decided to get back to her Midwestern roots and relocate to Chicago. Once there, she obtained her real estate license and has been a top producer in the city ever since.
Brandie was asked to join Designed to Sell in 2005 to provide her real estate expertise by showing sellers what was currently working and not working in their home in order to get it sold. From that, a design team took Brandie's advice and helped transform the sellers' home by utilizing a $2000 budget.
In 2006, Brandie was offered to host Hidden Potential and was thrilled with the opportunity. It allowed her to take buyers into three different homes and show them with computer generated images what the home could possibly look like while working within their budget. Brandie also filmed special episodes of Hidden Potential at Home where she would work with homeowners to show them the potential of their own house.
Brandie has been a featured guest on The Today Show, Cashin' In, American Morning, and other NBC & CNN affiliates. She has been on the cover of Columbus Monthly and interviewed by several newspapers across the country.
